Circulation and Membership

Membership Category and Loan Period

All students, teachers, and staff of the Vidyalaya are entitled to library membership. Their entitlements, in terms of the number of books they can borrow and the permissible loan period, are as follows:

Teachers/Staff:                    5 books for 30 days, with the option of renewing twice.

Students (Class VI-X):        2 books for 15 days, with the option of renewing once.

Reference and Consultation

The library maintains a dedicated reference collection comprising encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, atlases, etc. This section provides both short and long-range reference services. Reference books are not available for loan. However, in special cases and with the librarian's permission, Reference books can be issued overnight. Readers are encouraged to seek assistance from the librarian for any information or help with utilizing the library's collections and services.
